We export live Peruvian Monkeys, Fish, Rodents and Reptiles. Our live exports are very carefully prepared for shipping. Thousands of successful shipments have helped us create a shipping system that keeps our customers and your new pets happy! Our live exports have a 100% safety margin in time sensitive shipments such as live fish. We offer an arrive alive guarantee, however, shipments must be accepted or picked up in a timely manner. If there are losses in the shipment process, they must be reported to info@peruvianrivers.com within 4 hours of delivery.

Tank pictures will be provided prior to shipping of all species. We do our best to make sure that the species advertised are exactly the species being shipped. Given how many variations there are of certain species that can sometimes be difficult. It is ultimately up to you the buyer to give the final approval.

We offer direct shipping to your nearest Southwest/UPS/FEDEX supported airport. Airport to airport shipping quotes can be given through the Order Page. Because a US Fish and Wildlife Import/Export license is required for all non native live imports, you must either obtain an I/E license for direct shipping or a trans-shipper will be supplied for you who is licensed to import wildlife. There is no fee for our trans-shipper network but an additional stop at the trans-shippers airport for customs clearance may be required which would cause an increase in freight costs. In many cases, buying your own i/e license from US Fish and Wildlife is both cost effective and worth cutting down on travel time.

-How Does Trans-Shipping Work?-

Wildlife brought into the United States is required to be cleared through US Customs by a licensed importer. Every effort will be made to use one of our trans-shippers in the most direct path possible to your airport. When the crates arrive at the trans-shippers airport, they will pick up the crates, clear them through customs and label them for shipment to the final destination, and immediately ship them out on the next possible plane. The crates are never opened during the process, nor do they leave the airport. This process ads 4-12 hours to the total travel time. 24 to 36 hours should be planned on for most US deliveries. Your shipment will be prepared based on double the anticipated travel time for added safety.
